Thank you for shopping with Card King. We strive to bring you the most sought after and highest quality trading cards from all over the Globe. In doing so we also strive to provide exceptional customer service. As our products are imported from overseas upon order placement, we have a specific refund and returns policy to ensure clarity and fairness. Please read the details below carefully.

Our Refund Policy

We offer refunds only in the following circumstances and only once we have the item/s back in our possession and have verified such:
  • Damaged Items: If your product arrives damaged or defective, we will gladly process a refund or replacement, subject to verification. Note that some trading cards have been played with and have natural wear and tear and their general condition is indicated in the product listings (e.g "Mint" or "Near Mint") - this does not count as damaged in this instance. Please make sure you have inspected the photos and item description thoroughly before purchasing.
  • Not as Described: If the product you receive does not match the description provided on our website, you are eligible for a refund or replacement.
Due to the nature of our business, where products are imported specifically for your order, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for reasons such as change of mind, incorrect sizing choices, or other personal preferences. Please ensure you review product details, including descriptions, specifications, and sizing information, before placing your order.

Eligibility for Refunds

To be eligible for a refund:
  • The item must be damaged, defective, or not as described.
  • You must notify us within 7 days of receiving your order, as required under South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act.
  • The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging (where applicable).
  • Proof of purchase (e.g. order number) must be provided.
How to Request a Refund
  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer support team at nick@cardking.co.za within 7 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the damaged or incorrect item.
  2. Verification: We will review your request and may ask for additional information or photos to verify the condition of the item.
  3. Return Shipping: If approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item. Please note that return shipping costs for damaged or not-as-described items will be covered by us. 
  4. Processing: Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 4 business days.
Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns or refunds for:
  • Items that have been used, altered, or damaged after delivery.
  • Items returned due to change of mind or incorrect selection by the customer.
Shipping Costs
  • All our shipping costs are free of charge.
  • For approved refunds, we will cover the cost of return shipping for damaged or not-as-described items.
International Orders

We are bringing you the best cards sourced carefully from all over the world and ALL customs duties and VAT charges are INCLUDED in the price you pay as well as courier delivery to your specified address in South Africa.
